Ten young people Breton surfing talents go on an adventure to West Indies, ready to push their limits. This group of prodigies, from the wild coasts of Brittany, tackle the exotic waves of the Caribbean for a unique adventure of its kind. Armed with their boards and their passion, they are preparing to ignite the West Indian surf spots, while interacting with the local community and discovering new horizons.

A group of young Breton surfers decided to leave the cool coasts of Brittany to discover the heavenly waves of the Antilles. They share a common passion for surfing and come from different corners of the region: from Finistère to the Emerald Coast. This unique project takes them to explore the waves of the Caribbean, while sharing their experience with the local community. This is the story of their incredible adventure.

Dreams of tropical waves

Young Bretons have long dreamed of surfing under the Antilles sun. Their destinations included legendary spots like Saint-Barthélemy, Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin. To begin this adventure, they had to carefully plan their route, understand the particularities of the Caribbean waves and adapt to a new environment.

A group united by a common passion

The ten young people, aged 16 to 22, come from various surf clubs in Brittany. What unites them is their passion for waves and their desire to discover new cultures. Among them, we find the young French champion, Gabriel Abiven, whose remarkable talents in the cadet category have earned him numerous distinctions. Their adventure is also an opportunity to forge strong friendships and learn from each other.

Memorable encounters

During their trip, the young surfers had the opportunity to meet emblematic figures of West Indian surfing. They were able to chat with William Aliotti, the talented French surfer from the West Indies specializing in twin-fins, sharing unforgettable surf sessions and valuable advice. These exchanges help to enrich their sporting and personal culture.

Discovering local culture

In addition to surfing the turquoise waves of the Caribbean, the young Bretons immersed themselves in the local culture. They learned about West Indian traditions, tasted typical dishes and participated in local festivities. This cultural experience offered them a new and enriching perspective on the different ways of experiencing surfing.

The favorable climatic conditions of the Antilles, with warm water and constant waves, allowed young surfers to improve very quickly.
