A weekend of intense competition
Last weekend, the first Open de France Open and Juniors saw impressive waves and unforgettable performances. Guadeloupean Tim Bisso wowed spectators with his prowess, as did the talented Clémence Schorsch. Their victories mark the beginning of a series of exciting events in the world of young surfers.
Confirmed young talents
Yséa Houllier and Lee-Ann Boudine, two representatives of the Hossegor surf club, solidified their positions in the national rankings by finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. Their performances show once again that women’s surfing in France is gaining momentum, making each competition more and more exciting.
Norman hopes in light
Four young champions from Normandy, namely Armel Boisbourdain, Baptiste Scelle, Rodrigue Regnault And Pablo Herland, also caused a sensation. These talented surfers proudly represented their region during this competition in Martinique, and proved that they have the potential to compete with the best.

The Pôle Espoir de Surf de Martinique also demonstrated its excellence. Benefiting from a year-round “playground” and perfect surfing conditions, these young athletes performed exceptionally well. The French Open in Martinique was the ideal opportunity for them to shine on the national scene.

Going back a little, the Banque Populaire Surf Tour Hopes was also a highlight with some notable performances. For example, Malone Vieuge from Bidarteko Surf Club scored one of the best scores of the weekend with an impressive 8.63 points. Such scores foreshadow a bright future for these young talents.
Veterans still in action
The Veteran category is not left out with Erwann Jadé, who competed with the two best South African surfers of the stage. Although the competition was tough, he demonstrated remarkable technique and fighting spirit, reminding everyone that surfing is a sport for all ages.
